VOIP has not yet been established as a need in most regions today and apparently they are free if you use the right type of service. But while others offer them for free, some serve them for temporary trials to show people how they really work.

Apparently, this is a marketing gimmick on their part to entice subscription of the new age of VOIP. If you ask me, this will take a lot of convincing especially on why people should consider VOIP when there are roaming lines offered by mobile phones today. It may take time but if they aren’t careful, it may just flop.
